The boys have been using CAD - Computer Aided Design to turn their sketches of their designs into 3d images. A lot of research on You Tube of how land yachts travel and what the steering component looks like has taken place. They submitted their report to the Evening News about their project and wanted to acknowledge the contributions from Campbell. This week we are over in the workshop sending our computer programmed design to the laser cutter and playing with more tools. The boys are completing invitations in the next week with people they would like to come and watch the race between them. Whose land yacht will travel the fastest is anyones guess!
